Education + Adventure
Expert guides teach local gold history and geology, show you how gold forms and where to look, and train you to read the land like a pro. Learn professional metal-detecting techniques, master gold panning and basic processing. Discover how gold is valued and sold, and practice safe, responsible prospecting. Whether you’re a first-timer or seasoned hobbyist, you’ll experience the thrill of the hunt—and the chance to find real gold and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Equipment
We have the option to provide all the essential equipment needed to find gold, making our tours suitable for beginners and experienced prospectors alike. Metal detectors (Minelab GPX6000) are available for hire. We can also provide digging tools (picks, shovels and trowels) and panning equipment (pans, sieves, snuffer bottles and more). As well as UHF handheld radios for communication in the field. Ensuring you have everything to need to achieve your Eureka moment.
Nitty Gritty
As professional gold prospecting tour operators we are required to manage significant environmental and physical risks to ensure participant safety. We will ensure you have all necessary prospecting licenses, permits and access permissions. We ensure that all participants abide by the health and environmental, hazard awareness, safety, equipment and communication protocals.
Accomodation + Meals
For our group and private tours free on-site camping is available or there are accomodation options available in the local towns nearby. We can book accomodation for you or you can handle it yourself. You will need to provide your own food and drink. Our tours are an off grid experience so come prepared.
